Kate Fisher, CRNP

Kate Fisher, CRNP oversees Occupational Medicine Services at Liberty Urgent Care.

Her passion for both patient care and workplace safety stems from her father who is a Philadelphia Police Officer and now suffers from occupational exposures due to the 9/11 attacks in New York, where he responded and assisted. This makes her the perfect match for this role.

Kate attended DeSales University in Allentown and graduated with honors with a BSN degree in 2009. She then began working in long term care, specifically taking care of subacute ventilator patients. This sparked her desire to expand her knowledge base and she became a Nurse Practitioner, graduating from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2014, again with honors. She is currently enrolled in Johns Hopkins University’s Certificate in Occupational and Environmental Health program, with an anticipated completion in June of 2017, and plans to take the certification to become a Certified Occupational Health Nurse as soon as she completes the program.

Kate believes that everyone deserves to be in a safe work environment. She loves the challenge of treating work injuries when they do occur and works with employers and employees to minimize lost work days and expenses. She brings her passion to Liberty Urgent Care and is designing the program around these principles.

When not at Liberty Urgent Care, Kate enjoys spending time baking and decorating cakes and candy, reading, and raising her two golden retrievers, Cody and Tully.
